Whats up ya'll, just sittin here at work and have not been on here in a long time.  I thought I would jump on here and shell out a little update.~~~IT has been a crazy crazy summer.

!!~~@@~~!!AN UPDATE ON JOHN MICHEAL!!~~@@~~!!

He is doing very well.  Of course there are some bumps and humps along the way and will be probably the rest of his life, but that is just it he has his life!!!  After given a 10% chance of survival, John defied the odds and all things medical.  He fought hard and I saw it every single day.  John made it through the accident with a few scratches and bruises a collapsed lung and head trauma.  He is back on his feet and in school with the rest of his senior class members.  However, he will not be able to return to the football field where John flourished on the defensive line.  We will see how this football season goes, I think even without John physically being on the field the spirit he has that fought for his very life this summer will be on that field and with the coaches and players. Goooooooooooooo Tishomingo Indians!!!!!

My wife's brother has been in a very very serious car wreck.  The accident took place around 1130 and noon on Wedensday May 30th He has been non-responsive for 3 days, but he is stabilized. He and his girlfriend, both 17, were driving to Tishomingo it had been pouring like buckets. They lost control and hydroplaned into the side of a bridge which sent them rolling across to the other side slamming into an embankment. His girlfriend is in somewhat better condition, but is still in the ICU with John. John is a big strong young man that is what he has going for him. Other than that, the team of 7-10 doctors, nurses, neurologists, respiratory therapists, cardiologists and surgeons say it's a waiting game. They don't know how much damaged is caused, but in a week to 2 weeks, the team of doctors will findout.

For the time being, they are in ICU, and will be there for a while. The details of their injuries do not need to be printed, but I would invite all who would like, to pray for them as well as the family members and friends connected to these 2 sweet and caring individuals.  Even though there are many healthcare professionals attending to their needs, I feel the best medicine is hope, faith and prayer. I would like to express to all a truly heart felt thanks and appreciation for those prayers and thoughts that have been offered already, believe me they have been felt.  Go Indians!!!!!

Hey there people, it has been a while since I posted a blog and thought I would get on this morning and do so.  The year has started out GREAT!!!!!  I am a huge fan of the Meg & Dia Band, and they finally made their way back to Oklahoma.  As an OSU alumn I had to walk accross the OU campus and sit in the Union to be able to watch my favorite band.  Boy was it worth it.  They rocked hard and sang so well, it was like I was in the recording studio with them, the sound was amazing.  In all the cool instrumentals and soft smooth vocals I totally forgot where I was, yet I didn't even care.  I can't wait to go see them again...and dang it, I need to get their cd....

Needless to say, I had a blast, and I would recommend them to anyone that loves music.  They have an appeal that could reach anyone, even if they are a genre specific music fan.  You can find them
